Planet
Supporting Decarbonisation, Biodiversity & Regenerative Agriculture is a key part of our business.
Taking action on climate change is one of the biggest challenges facing our planet today and a major focus of our industry. The very nature of the work we do – be it recycling metals and transforming them into value added products or connecting farmers to consumers to deliver essential food to the world — requires a deep understanding of the environment and market demands around us. It means we must face the realities of a changing climate and food insecurity, as we work to minimize our impact on delicate ecosystems while meeting the needs of consumers and communities.
With the urgency of climate action greater than ever, we are committed to doing our part to find tangible solutions to the crisis and are scaling up our ambition more than ever before.
In 2020, Conexus Resources started to measure emissions across its activities, while seeking ways to reduce CO2, SOx and NOx from our direct and indirect activities. Furthermore, we have actively been implementing reduction, replacement and offset initiatives across the group as well as working with our supply chain partners and communities to increase awareness and share knowledge & tools for their actioning.
